Joe earned his Bachelor degree in Secondary Education from Central Michigan University in December of 2000. He has since worked as a secondary school teacher, coach, and in higher education as a student services coordinator. He is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership through Grand Valley State University. Joe started his employment with Lake Superior State University in January of 2007. Joe primarily works with students in the Metropolitan Detroit Area and St. Clair County. He is also the contact person for all inquiries on the admissions website. Joe enjoys working in admissions and talking to students about LSSU.
Joe was born in Sault Ste. Marie Michigan. Early in his life he relocated to Marysville Michigan, where he attended grade school and graduated from Marysville high school. He really enjoys spending time with his family. Joe also likes to stay in shape, and most nights he can be found exercising at the Student Activity Center (SAC) on main campus. His hobbies include reading, running, camping, snowshoeing, and snowboarding. “I love working in admissions at Lake Superior State University. I like helping people make the transition into higher education. The Soo and LSSU’s main campus are full of energy, which makes coming to work an exciting and rewarding experience.”
