Kathy earned her Bachelor of Arts at Lake Superior State University in December 2003. She is currently working on an MS in Organization and Management with a concentration in Leadership from Capella University. Kathy started in the admissions office as the Transfer Specialist in October 2005 and recently changed directions in 2007 to working with high school students and counselors from the Southeast corner of Michigan as well as students and counselors from Ohio.
Kathy was raised just south of Sault Ste. Marie in Brimley, Michigan and has been involved with LSSU for over 14 years. She has relocated to the SE corner with her husband and their daughter. She enjoys telling people about LSSU and the U.P.: “Honestly – it’s not that bad of a drive – you can use your cruise control once you get past Saginaw.”
She enjoys writing, reading, and relaxing with her family. Kathy misses the U.P. and makes frequent trips home. She’s an excellent resource for students new to the area and is eager to answer any questions you may have regarding Sault Ste. Marie or LSSU in general.
