About Kevin Dugan ...

Being a recent alum of Lake Superior State University I was able to receive the true “Laker experience”. It was at LSSU that I discovered my passion for higher education and a desire to help college students have the same amazing experience that I had.

Originally I am from Livonia, MI, a large city in the metro Detroit area, so coming to Sault Ste Marie was a pretty big change. With my love for the outdoors, the great friendly environment and the personal attention I received at LSSU the transition was easier than I could have ever imagined.

I am a huge movie buff and expanding my movie collection is something I am always working on. When I’m not relaxing watching a good movie I enjoy bike riding, rollerblading, sports, playing cards and just being outdoors.

Sault Ste. Marie offers a great environment to continue in higher education and I am very happy that you are considering LSSU! I look forward to talking with you about what Lake Superior State University has to offer as well as my amazing experiences that I enjoyed as an undergraduate at LSSU.

Fire Science

"I love the fast pace environment, the people in the profession, and the adrenaline rush of running into a burning building or saving someone’s life," she says.

Rondeau chose Lake Superior State University because it offers the first accredited four-year fire science degree in the United States. She also jumped at the challenge of LSSU's Honors program, which requires her to complete 21 Honors credits, including 10 credits for an Honors seminar/thesis project.
