Title: SEASONS OF THE NAVAJO
Movie ID: VT3706
Movie Number: 3706
Description: Carries us through a year in the life of a family, showing how nothing is wasted. How the wool from their beautiful, long haired sheep is spun into thread, dyed with the colors of flowers and leaves, and hand woven into the lovely rugs for which the Navajo are famous. Strong ties to family and tradition bring a sense of great heart of "Seasons Of The Navajo." As we watch grandparents teach children, and impart the ancient 'blessings of kindness,' we see how these people are preserving a unique culture. Told in the family's own words, "Seasons Of The Navajo" offers rare insights on a life untouched by the modern world, a glimpse through a window in time.
