OPEN OCEAN, THE
David Attenborough's study of creatures in "The Open Ocean" begins in the
Pacific. He observes horseshoe crabs, whose fossils have been found in
600-million-year-old rocks, and narwhals, whale-like mammals whose males
use 9-foot unicorn tusks in mating battles. In Australia, Attenborough
views a leafy sea dragon.
