The world of Islam is shared by some 800 million people of all
races, economic levels, and social strata. Despite their many
differences, these people share a faith which is today what it
has been from its beginnings, the same in a Moroccan King's
palace and a Filipino hovel.
The essential principles on which Islam rests--the five pillars--are
discussed, described, and put into historical perspective in this program.
