"Most natural science classes at LSSU offer students as much hands-on experience (lab hours) as lecture hours, which ensures that the university experience prepares us for the real world careers, whether you work at a desk or out in the field, or both. There are endless advantages and opportunities available to LSSU students due to its location on an international border.

I found my career path on campus when my advisor posted a job for the Bi-national Public Advisory Council (BPAC), a group dedicated to and overseeing the clean-up the St. Mary's River. I was able to gain experience and network on both sides of the border, ultimately finding full-time employment before I graduated with my biology degree."

Title: SAN FRANCISCO
Movie ID: VT3266
Movie Number: 3266
Description: The world-famous Golden Gate Bridge welcomes you to the "city by the bay." Take a walk along the North Beach, the old Barbary Coast, then go through the narrow Chinatown streets, down Lombard, "the crookedest street in the world," and finally climb to Telegraph Hill for a magnificent panorama of the city. From the quaint shops and stalls of Fisherman's Warf, you'll take a cruise to Alcatraz and tour "The Rock" where Al Capone was imprisoned. Then climb aboard a cable car and ride to the top of Nob Hill and back down to visit the beautiful Japanese Tea Gradens and Shrine. Outside the city, you'll see the giant redwood trees at Muir Woods and stop for a wine-tasting in the Napa Valley. Everyone falls in love with San Francisco...and so will you.

Political Science ...

Political Science

"The study of political science/law is basically the path of least resistance for me. It is a subject that has always interested me, and one that I have proved to be naturally insightful in. Studying political science isn’t just the study of how governments function or how it is composed, but the study of why it exists and to what ends. In short, it is the study of what makes everything else possible."
