windy day/surface ripples/fallen tree parallel to bank/a little difficult to accurately assess. Tree is at a pt along bank 4-5'out that could not walk to woith out faling in.  Not that adventuraout today. Slippery clay.

some vegetative decay surface scum, notheing flourescent looking, had orang on poly-string initially, all I did was float mostly upstream and eventually toward shore, finnaly threw it out 15-20' by itself it sat there sort of bobbing slowly uptream.  about 1/2hr later it arrived, it floated sideways, no more than 5', if that, downstream, retrieved.
