The third annual Sault Area Chamber Chase will use LSSU as its staring point when runners take off today for a marathon, half-marathon, International Bridge run and 5K race. The marathon and half-marathon begin at 7:15 a.m., the bridge run of 6.6 miles starts at 7:30 a.m. and a 5K run starts at 7:45 a.m., all at the Norris Center. A free expo for runners and others will be held the day before the race, Friday, Sept. 21, from 4-9 p.m. at the Grand Island Room #1 in Kewadin Casino. The race course is a unique one that features great views of the St. Mary's River and EUP and Northern Ontario fall colors via the International Bridge.
