RSVP for New Science of Learning Faculty Workshop

Description: Join your colleagues for a hands-on, practical workshop on learner-centered teaching and the brain research that supports this approach to teaching. Ferris State University Prof. Terry Doyle presents "The New Science of Learning from 6:30-9 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 29, and from 9 a.m.-noon on Monday, Sept. 30, in the Walker Cisler Center's Michigan/Ontario rooms. During Monday's session, faculty are invited to drop in as they can. Doyle is a professor of reading at FSU, where he has worked for the past 36 years and was the senior instructor for faculty development and coordinator of the New-to-Ferris Faculty Transition Program for the FSU Faculty Center for Teaching and Learning. He is in demand nationally as a speaker on teaching and learning. Read more in the announcements on MyLSSU.
