Description: Dig out your Laker attire, because every Friday is a Laker Friday, a celebration of the blue and gold, and an opportunity for students, faculty and staff to show their Laker pride by donning LSSU colors and apparel. Break out that Laker hoodie, blue sweater or Laker anchor earrings and show your colors!

Video Message for Laker Basketball

12:00 PM until 12:30 PM


Description: LSSU Campus Life is making a 20-30 second video message to send to the men's basketball team to wish them luck in the NCAA Tournament this weekend. Psychology Faculty Candidate Lecture

3:00 PM until 4:00 PM

Organization: Academics

Description: Stephanie Richman, a candidate for a psychology faculty position at LSSU, will be presenting "Motivations Behind Pro-social Behavior: Does Altruism Exist?" Richman is currently completing her doctorate in social psychology at the University of Kentucky. Everyone is welcome.

Seamore Shuttle

6:00 PM until 10:30 PM


Description: The Seamore Shuttle is a free service provided by the LSSU Campus Life Office that takes LSSU students downtown and to places on the business spur, including Varsity Cinemas. Pick-up and drop-off is at the Walker Cisler Center. Shuttle runs from 6-10:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 1-4 p.m. on Sunday.

ComedySportz Performance

7:30 PM until 9:00 PM


Description: ComedySportz is at it again. Check out new games and new teams but the same comedy goodness. Admission is only $5 for all ages. ComedySportz is improvisational comedy that is played like a sport. The audience inspires the scenes and gets to judge throughout the show to determine which team wins.

Laker Cinema presents The Hunger Games: Catching Fire

9:00 PM until 11:30 PM

Organization: Campus Life

Description: Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark become targets of the Capitol after their victory in the 74th Hunger Games sparks a rebellion in the Districts of Panem. You'll have three opportunities to see this Laker Cinema presentation: Thursday and Friday at 9 p.m. and Saturday at 6:30 p.m.
