Laker Fridays are an opportunity for LSSU alumni, students, employees, friends and area businesses to show their support of Lake Superior State University by donning LSSU colors and apparel. Whether it's a blue suit coat, a gold sweater, a Laker hoodie or a pair of Laker anchor earrings, put it on come Friday, because every Friday is Laker Friday.
The Seamore Shuttle is a free service that takes LSSU students downtown and to places on the business spur such as Family Video, Big Lots and other stores in the Sault Plaza, as well as Varsity Cinemas. Pick-up and drop-off is at the Walker Cisler Center. Shuttle runs from 6-10:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 1-4 p.m. on Sunday.
The search is on for Lake Superior State University's 2013 Best Man on Campus. The competition includes a talent portion, formal wear, swimsuit or boxers, and a short question-answer session. Alpha Kappa Chi is putting on the charity event with all proceeds going to Zack Barber and his family. Entrance is by donation.
