Seamore Shuttle

Description: The Seamore Shuttle is a free service that takes LSSU students downtown and to places on the business spur such as Family Video, Big Lots and other stores in the Sault Plaza, as well as Varsity Cinemas. Pick-up and drop-off is at the Walker Cisler Center. Shuttle runs from 6-10:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 1-4 p.m. on Sunday.

Lake State Theatre Company presents Rumors by Neil Simon

Description: LSSU presents Neil Simon's "Rumors," which is sure to make you laugh. In the play, four high society couples arrive at the anniversary party of Charlie and Myra Brock. However, the servants are gone, the hostess is missing and Charlie is lying upstairs with a gunshot wound to the earlobe. The high-voltage hilarity ensues as the friends try frantically to protect their host (who is deputy mayor of New York) and themselves by hiding the evening's events from the outside world. Doors slam, secrets are revealed and complications mount as this side-splitting farce unfolds. Written by the American icon Neil Simon, this show will leave you happy to be in the rumor-mill. SAAC Lock-In for Make-A-Wish Foundation

3:00 PM until 6:00 PM

Organization: Athletics

Description: Enjoy an afternoon of fun and games with Laker athletes who are part of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee. The event is open to boys and girls in grades 1-8. Cost is $10. All proceeds benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Battle The Greeks

4:00 PM until 6:00 PM

Organization: Inter Greek Council

Description: Battle the Greeks is a week-long event starting today with the opening ceremony and a pie-eating contest. Cash prizes awarded each day! Monday is Greek Olympics with dodgeball, vollyball and a relay race. Tuesday is a 1.5 mile trail run around campus. Wednesday is the talent show, and if you don't have a talent, we have a karaoke machine. Thursday is the quiz bowl where the questions will be about Lake State. Friday is Greek Olympics Day 2 with tug of war, barrel toss, and a mystery race. Saturday is the awards banquet FREE food. Prizes will be given away at the banquet in addition to the daily cash prizes of up to $75. Come out and have some fun at this event by the Inter-Greek Council. Open to all students!
