Palm of the Hand Memoir Writing Workshop

12:00 PM until 1:00 PM

Organization: Activities Board

Description: The Palm of the Hand Memoir Writing Workshop is held on the first Tuesday of every month in the LSSU Kenneth J. Shouldice Library from 12:30 pm " 1:30 pm. Inspired by the flash fiction of Yasunari Kawabata, Michael Czarnecki combined his love of memoir with this modern writing form to create “Palm of the Hand Memoirs,” an art he describes as “a short (600 words or less) memoir that is about one specific memory, or experience, in your life.” These workshops are free and open to the public. No registration is required, and new participants are always welcome. For more information, call the KJS Library at (906) 635-2815.
