The Seamore Shuttle is a free service provided by the LSSU Campus Life Office that takes LSSU students to places on the business spur such as Family Video, Big Lots and other stores in the Sault Plaza, as well as Varsity Cinemas, and downtown locations. Pick-up and drop-off is at the Walker Cisler Center. Shuttle runs from 6-10:30 on Friday and Saturday, and 1-10:30 p.m. on Sunday.

A big art auction will begin at 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, in the Cisler Center in the Sault. More than 100 items will be up for auction, everything from note cards, prints and pots to fine, original paintings, all donated by area artists to support the Sault Area Arts Council and Alberta House Arts Center. On the block will be metal wall hangings; jewelry; pine needle baskets; blown, fused and stained glass; photographs and paintings; artist designed trinket and recipe boxes; hand woven fibers; ceramics; turned, carved and polished wood; hand made leather purses; watering cans, bird houses and yard ornaments and more. Artists include Helga Flower, Maureen Mousley, Zoey Wood-Salomon, David Bigelow, Janet Bonnell, Gene Usimaki, Rick Shapero, Well-man & Welsch, Jeanne Tubman, Ellen Hadath, Tom and Kate Marshall, Polly Allison and many more. Auction is free of charge. Items may be viewed on the arts council web site: www.saultarts.org. Everybody is welcome!
