The Biology Department and Three Lakes chapter of the Sierra Club invite you to hear Sally Entrekin Ph.D. of Central Arkansas University speak about "Natural gas extraction in the Fayetteville Shale Basin, Arkansas." Entrekin will be speaking to LSSU seminar classes earlier in the day, but her talk in the evening, when she will discuss natural gas extraction methods and their environmental effects, is open to the public.
Join us for the first Lake State PIGGY U Piggy Round-up, which will take place during Apple Bottom Jitters. Bring your LSSU Foundation-issued Piggy Bank full of loose change and all proceeds will go to support the construction of a rock climbing wall in the Student Activity Center. If you don't have a Piggy Bank, you can pick one up at Campus Life, Learning Center, Alumni House or from a resident assistant. Everyone who participates in Lake State PIGGY U! will receive a prize. See you there!
