The second annual Superior Children's Book Festival will take place today. Two popular Michigan children's book authors, Johnathan Rand and Nancy Shaw, will be this year's special guests. The festival will also include a Picture Book Party and a "How to Break into Children's Publishing" panel, both at 11:30 a.m., an "Intro to Steampunk" presentation at 2 p.m., and plenty of children's crafts, games, and prizes throughout the day. The festival is free and open to the public.

The Seamore Shuttle is a free service provided by the LSSU Campus Life Office that takes LSSU students downtown and to places on the business spur, including Varsity Cinemas. Pick-up and drop-off is at the Walker Cisler Center. Shuttle runs from 6-10:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 1-4 p.m. on Sunday.
