Department of Chemistry Senior Research Archive                            Return to: Chemistry, LSSU

Students in programs offered through the Departments of Biology and Chemistry each work closely with a faculty mentor to complete a meaningful senior level research project during their junior and senior years.  These include majors in Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Chemistry, Environmental Health, Environmental Science, and Fisheries and Wildlife.  These projects span a wide range of topics from natural resource management and environmental systems analysis to applied aquaculture,  and range of depth from very applied projects to theoretical research in fundamental biological and chemical processes.  The senior research project is the capstone event for the student's undergraduate education and it is the opportunity for the student to place their coursework and skills into practical service through meaningful and productive research which is relevant to their academic degree.

Senior research projects have been grouped by the year of their completion.  We have attempted to make each student's thesis abstract available at this site.  If you can't find yours, or you can help us to update the records please contact David Myton by email
