Roses for your Graduate!
The Alumni Association's student group, SAILS (Student Alumni Involved for Lake State), will be selling bouquets of mixed roses in the Norris Center lobby prior
to the start of commencement.
1 dozen: $30
Half dozen: $20
Please wait until after your graduate has crossed the platform to present your roses.
Students planning to graduate as of fall 2012, spring 2013 or summer 2013, are eligible to participate in the 2013 Commencement Ceremony. We will be updating this site on a regular basis. Feel free to use the menu located at the left side of this page, to explore other areas related to commencement.
Commencement Practice:
Practice will begin at Noon on Friday, April 26th in the Bud Cooper Gym. Instructions for Procedure, Line-up & Procession are included in the links located on the menu at the left side of this page. Note: the honor (e.g. cum laude) designation is determined by your GPA at the end of the Fall 2012 semester.
Commencement Ceremony:
This year's ceremony will take place on April 27th at 11 a.m. in the Taffy Abel Arena in the Norris Center. Graduates are asked to arrive in the Cooper Gym between 10-10: 30 a.m. The ceremony lasts approximately 2 hours. Please note that seats cannot be reserved.

GradImages Photographers took pictures of each graduate as he/she approached, crossed and exited the platform. Photos will available through their
Web site at www.gradimages.com. You will be contacted by them following graduation. Please be sure to
update your contact information at my.lssu.edu if you want to ensure GradTrak's ability to get in touch with you.
Graduate Candidates:   
Please check the list to verify that both your name AND your degree(s) are correct.
Order of March:   The number next to your name is where you
will be in the line-up. If you are getting an associate degree and a bachelor degree, look for your name under the bachelor degree. If you are
getting multiple degrees, make sure you are listed under the degree with which you wish to march. Please contact the Registrar's Office at
registrar@lssu.edu if you have questions.
Issues regarding your grade point or honors status should be directed to the Registrar's office.
Update your mailing and telephone/cell phone information on Anchor Access - available via My.LSSU. Your MyLSSU e-mail address will be used by the photography company to get in touch with you.
Diplomas will be be mailed to the address you indicated on your Graduation Application. If your diploma will need to be mailed to a different address, please update your
address information on Anchor Access using MyLSSU and contact the Registrar's
Office at registrar@lssu.edu.
