The staff of Counseling Services would like to extend a warm welcome

Please call for appointments. For emergency services call the 24 hour
Hotline at Hiawatha Behavioral Health (HBH) at (906) 632-2805 (Collect
calls are accepted) or 911. Help can also be found at Ulifeline
which is sponsored by the Jed Foundation.
Due to recent advisories, combined with the confidential
nature of our department's mission and services, the Counseling, &
Disability Services department would encourage caution to all clients
and staff who desire to communicate through the medium of technology
including fax, email, and phone.
Any communication exchanged by clients and staff via the medium of technology
is voluntary and can be subject to potential compromises of confidentiality
due to reasons which can be a result of potential technology shortcomings
and which are therefore beyond the control of our department. Consequently,
it would be prudent to exercise discretion and caution in choosing content
of communication that is transmitted through such means.
