The table below provides the degree audits for the current programs - the most recent program is listed first in each box. Archived degree audits for programs that were in effect prior to Spring 2012 are found here.

Audits for Teacher Certification

Program Code

Elementary candidates must complete either one approved teaching major or complete the elementary education major with two approved teaching minors audits

Secondary candidates must complete an approved major AND an approved minor program*

Chemistry DC  

Students admitted for Fall 2015 and later must use the new chemistry secondary teaching audit for the MAJOR .PDF format or the minor .PDF format. The new MAJOR audit reflects the updated General Education Requirements that take effect Fall 2015.

Students admitted Fall 2013 - Summer 2013 should use this chemistry secondary teaching audit for the MAJOR or the minor. .PDF format

Students admitted 8/2012-12/2012 could use the chemistry teaching major, chemistry teaching minor but we recommend the newer version. See your adviser.

Elementary Education with Language Arts and Mathematics Concentration

Students admitted Fall 2015 and later must use the new elementary education major with a concentration in Language Arts and Mathematics..PDF format . This degree includes all coursework required for both a minor in Language Arts and a minor in Mathematics. The new audit also reflects the updated General Education Requirements that take effect Fall 2015.

Students admitted in Fall 2014 - Summer 2015 should use the elementary education major .PDF format with a concentration in Language Arts and Mathematics.

Students admitted prior to Fall 2014 may use this elementary educationMAJOR .PDF format audit, but will need two minor audit sheets also.

 
Elementary Education with Early Childhood Education Concentration ZS

Students admitted Fall 2015 and later must use the new elementary education major with a concentration in Early Childhood Education..PDF format. This new audit reflects the updated General Education Requirements that take effect Fall 2015.

Students admitted Fall 2014 - Summer 2015 should use the elementary education major .PDF format with a concentration in Early Childhood Education.

 
Language Arts BX

Students admitted Fall 2015 and later must use the new elementary language arts audit..PDF format. This new audit reflects the updated General Education Requirements that take effect Fall 2015.

Students admitted Fall 2014 - Summer 2015 should use the NEW elementary language arts audit for the MAJOR .PDF format. Note that the new elementary standards are now in place and the program requirements of this program better reflect the content on which you will be tested. See your adviser for more information.

Students admitted prior to Fall 2014 may use this elementary language arts audit for the MAJOR .PDF format.

 
Mathematics EX

Students admitted Fall 2015 and later must use the new elementary mathematics audit..PDF format. This new audit reflects the updated General Education Requirements that take effect Fall 2015.

Students admitted for the Fall 2013 or later must use the NEW elementary mathematics audit for the MAJOR .PDF format. Note that the new elementary standards are now in place and the program requirements of the NEW program better reflect the content on which you will be tested. See your adviser for more information.

Students admitted for Fall 2015 and later must use the new mathematics secondary teaching audit for the MAJOR .PDF format or the minor .PDF format. The new MAJOR audit reflects the updated General Education Requirements that take effect Fall 2015.

Physical Science DP  

Students admitted for Fall 2015 or later must use the new physical science secondary teaching audit for the Group MAJOR .PDF format which requires a minor, or the Comprehensive MAJOR .PDF format that does not require an additional minor. These new audits reflect the updated General Education Requirements that take effect Fall 2015.

Students admitted prior to Fall 2015 may use the NEW physical science secondary teaching audit for the Group MAJOR .PDF format which requires a minor, or the Comprehensive MAJOR .PDF format that does not require an additional minor.

Special Education (Learning Disabilities) SM

Students admitted Fall 2015 and later must use the new elementary special education learning disabilities audit ..PDF format. This new audit reflects the updated General Education Requirements that take effect Fall 2015.

Students admitted Fall 2013 - Summer 2015 should use the NEW elementary special education audit for the Elementary Special Education Learning Disabilities .PDF format.

Students admitted 8/2011through 12/2012 use the Elementary Special Education major.PDF format with focus on Learning Disabilities. A teachable minor is required - attach a separate audit for either language arts or math.

 

 

Audits for Early Childhood (without Teacher Certification)

The Early Childhood Education majors often can work as assistant and lead teachers in preschools, directors of child care facilities, child care specialists, or other related roles. Early Childhood Education majors are not certified to work in k - 12 public or charter schools, or similar programs.
