This will be a new program for the university. The university hired an Associate Dean with expertise and experience in the field of education to head up the School of Education, to teach in this program and to focus on the preparation of teachers in the field of Special Education with the first program being Learning Disability Instruction. This new Associate Dean, working with other faculty members and qualified adjuncts from our region, will have the responsibility for instruction in this program. A new position was authorized to support and also teach this program.
