COURSE DESCRIPTION:

This course is the fourth of six one-credit, four-week components that make up 
the University's Mathematics Competency requirement.  This course covers real 
numbers and variables, as well as equations and inequalities.

FINAL EXAM & GRADE: 

The final exam will be given on May 29. 

   This course is graded on a Credit/No Credit basis.  The final grade is 
determined from the results of the final exam. The final exam is a multiple 
choice exam covering the sections listed on the schedule in this syllabus.  
Calculators are allowed during the final exam. Students should bring a Scantron 
answer sheet, pencils, and a calculator to the exam.  A score of 75% or higher 
is needed to pass the final exam.

HOMEWORK:

Students are expected to complete the assigned homework on time each day.

ABSENCE POLICY: 

Students are expected to be in class every day.
