The Ichthyology class (BIOL310) seined the St. Marys and Charlotte Rivers to collect fish for identification.  Fisheries Management (BIOL432) students conducted a yellow perch mark-recapture population estimate, then a yellow perch removal in Soldier Lake.  Our goal was to increase the growth rate of yellow perch to improve fishing on Soldier Lake.  Thank you to the 1st year Lake State students who volunteered to help!
