Using Anchor Access to access your Financial Aid information

Instructions for looking up account information on Anchor Access

1. Go to my.lssu.edu (see the helpful hints below for more information)
2. Enter your user I.D. and Password
3. Click on "Anchor Access" (Located in the box labeled "LSSU Web Services")
4. Click on "Student"
5. Click on "Student Account and Tax Information"
6. Click on "Statement and Payment History"
7. Click on "View Your Statement"
8. View Authorized Aid
   (Alternative loan and private scholarship checks will not appear until received and processed by Financial Aid Office)

Instructions for accepting your financial aid on Anchor Access

1. Go to my.lssu.edu (see the helpful hints below for more information)
2. Enter your user I.D. and Password
3. Click on "Anchor Access" (Located in the box labeled "LSSU Web Services")
4. Click on "Financial Aid"
5. Click on "Award"
6. Click on "Accept Award Offer"
7. Select the correct academic year click "Submit"
8. Review the terms & conditions of your award carefully and accept the terms if they are agreeable to you. If not, do NOT submit your acceptance of aid on line. Contact the Financial Aid Office.
9. Review your Housing Status and report any additional aid you are receiving that is not listed on your award
10. Under the award decision column, use the "Accept" or "Decline" feature to respond to each type of aid offered
11. Contact the Financial Aid Office at 906.635.2678 if you have any questions

Instructions for viewing your required documents on Anchor Access

1. Go to my.lssu.edu
2. Enter your user I.D. and Password
3. Click on "Anchor Access" (Located in the box labeled "LSSU Web Services")
4. Click on "Financial Aid"
5. Click on "Eligibility"
6. Click on "Student Requirements"
7. Select Aid Year “Financial Aid 2009-2010” and then click "Submit
8. Contact the Financial Aid Office at 906.635.2678 if you have any questions

Helpful Hints

• To log in for the first time, go to http://my.lssu.edu.
• Your user name is the first initial of your first name, followed by your last name.
• If another user already has this user name, your middle initial will be added after the first initial of your first name.
• Your password will be your birth date MMDDYY – 6 digits long. Once you access My LSSU, you may change your password by clicking “My Account.”
• If you have any problems logging in, please contact the Student Service Counter or Registrar’s Office by e-mail: register@lssu.edu or by phone at 906-635-2232 or 906-635-2682.
• If you have forgotten your password, you will need to show picture ID at the Student Service Counter to have your password reset.
