LSSU Achievement Scholarship
- Value: variable — non-renewable
- Criteria: merit based; must have
earned at least 26 LSSU credits;
preference will be given to students
who are not current recipients
of any LSSU scholarship
and who have demonstrated
scholastic achievement and/or
GPA improvement during their
LSSU experience.
Bethel Lodge #358 Free & Accepted Masons of Michigan Scholarship
- Value: variable— non-renewable
- Criteria: merit and need based; must be a resident of Michigan; minimum 3.0 GPA; must be a child, stop-child, or grandchild of a member of a Lodge under the jurisdiction of the Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of Michigan
Canadian Gold Student Scholarship
- Value: $2,000 — non-renewable
- Criteria: merit based; must have earned 26-124 LSU credits with a minimum 3.25 GPA
- Selected by: Financial Aid Committee through scholarship sign-up

Scholarship

- Criteria: merit based; must have
earned at least 26 LSSU credits,
preference will be given to nontraditional
students (out of high

Laker Student Leader Scholarship
- Value: $1,000 — non-renewable
- Criteria: merit based; must have
earned at least 56 credits at
LSSU
- Selected by: nominations from
LSSU faculty and staff with
recommendation by the
selection committee
Galen H. Harrison Scholarship
- Value: variable — non-renewable
- Criteria: merit and need based; must be a Pickford high School graduate who has been accepted to attend LSSU by April 1 of their high school senior year; must be an incoming LSSU freshman; must have earned a high school GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Curriculum: biology, chemistry, geology, nursing, mathematics, computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, environmental chemistry, environmental science, or mechanical engineering
Crystal L. Housding Memorial Scholarship
- Value: variable — non-renewable
- Criteria: merit and need based; must have a high school graduate from and Emmet County high school; must have earned a GPA of 3.0 or higher; must have
earned at least 26 LSSU credits,
preference will be given to students who demonstrate volunteer involvement and leadership skills
Roberts P. & Ella B. Hudson Foundation Scholarship
- Value: variable — renewable
- Criteria: merit based; must have a high school or transfer GPA of 3.0 or higher; must be a graduate from a Chippewa County high school, must be a student enrolled at LSSU by April 1 of the current academic year
- Selected by: Financial Aid Committee through scholarship sign-up
Kelsey Raffael Memorial Scholarship
- Value: variable — non-renewable
- Criteria: merit based; must be a Sault Area High School graduate with a GPA of 3.0 or higher; must be accepted as a first year full time student at LSSU; preference is given to students who are members of the Business Professionals of America organization (BPA)
- Selected by: recommendation by the Sault Area High School Academic Awards Committee
Laker Spirit Scholarship
- Value: variable — non-renewable
- Criteria: merit based; must have completed three semesters or more as a full-time student at LSSU; must have earned a GPA of 3.0 or higher; must provide two collaborating references of involvement; must demonstrate involvement in extra-curricular and campus activities
