Norma & Weldon Fritch Scholarship
- Value: minimum $1,200 — non-renewable
- Criteria: merit and need based; earned at least 56 LSSU credits, minimum 3.0 GPA; Michigan residents are preferred; if there are no eligible Michigan students, residents from any other geographic region within the United States may be considered.
- Curriculum: geology; if there is no eligible geology major in a given academic year, then a student majoring in any of the natural science programs may be considered
- Selected by: recommendation of the LSSU Geology faculty

- Value: variable — non-renewable
- Criteria: merit based; junior or
senior status; active membership in the Geology Club; exceptionally
good academic record
in geology; earned at least 26
