The eligible transfer student must be entering LSSU for the first time directly from another college
(students sitting out more than one semester are not eligible for scholarship consideration) with a minimum of 24 earned college credits and a maximum of 90 attempted college credits at any combination of schools.
Students who have attempted more than 90 credit hours may appeal for consideration for a one-year scholarship.
Awards are based on the cumulative GPA earned at all schools prior to start of the first LSSU semester - official transcripts are required before awards are finalized.
You must be admitted to LSSU by March 1 to be considered for scholarships.
All scholarships are renewable for a second year provided the recipient meets the scholarship renewal criteria.

$1000 per year tuition
$500 per year room & board.
Renewable for one year. Merit based; earned cumulative GPA of 3.3-3.49 GPA.
