Alum Success

Don Sawruk

Don Sawruk '70

"My two business degrees from LSSU were instrumental in preparing me to work at all levels of Edison Sault Electric (ESE), concluding with the privilege of becoming ESE President in 1998. My company also takes pride in that 14 out of a total of 17 management personnel and about 20% of hourly employees at ESE either have degrees from or have attended a substantial number of classes at LSSU. Finally, our company and employees have contributed in excess of $500,000 to various LSSU projects over the last 25 years. ESE Believes in Blue."

Dining Services

Bonus Bucks

Bonus Bucks is a "cash card" addition to the block plans. Each Bonus Buck is worth one dollar and can be used at most food locations. Bonus Bucks are useful for in-between meal snacks and when your schedule does not permit dining at the Quarterdeck. Bonus Bucks remaining at the end of fall semester will transfer to spring semester. Students on any of the Block Plans may transfer unused meals into Bonus Bucks and/or unused Bonus Bucks into meals anytime of each semester. You may treat a guest to a meal, however, you must accompany your guest, as guests may not borrow your meal card.

Where can I spend my Bonus Bucks?
Bonus Bucks may be used at the Quarterdeck Dining Hall to purchase additional meals. They also can be used to purchase food items at the Cappuccino Corner, Cafe' ala Carte, the Galley, and during Laker Hockey games.
