Job Opportunities

Quarterdeck

The Quarterdeck has the most positions available. They range from dishwashing, salad bar runners, cook's helpers, line attendants, to grill cook. There is no experience needed, we will train you to do the job. The Quarterdeck is the main dining hall on campus. These jobs are scheduled for the term.

The Galley

The Galley is a fast food restaurant combined with the variety of a convenience store, offering chips, dips, soda among other items. It is located in the basement of the Cisler Center. There are a limited number of positions in the Galley to choose from, so stop by early to sign up for work at the Galley. The Galley is also scheduled for the term.

Cappuccino Corner

The Cappuccino Corner is a small deli located on the first floor of the Kenneth J. Shouldice Library (KJS bldg.). It offers fresh made sandwiches, bagels, desserts, soda, coffee, cappuccino. The Cappuccino Corner is scheduled for the term.

Norris Center Concessions

The Norris Center Concessions is a typical concessions area. It is open based on the events that are held at the Norris Center. We are open for all Laker hockey and basketball games, concerts, and other events. So if you like to keep a very flexible schedule, this is the place for you.

Fire Science with Honors...

"I love the fast pace environment, the people in the profession, and the adrenaline rush of running into a burning building or saving someone’s life," she says.

Rondeau chose Lake Superior State University because it offers the first accredited four-year fire science degree in the United States. She also jumped at the challenge of LSSU's Honors program, which requires her to complete 21 Honors credits, including 10 credits for an Honors seminar/thesis project.
