Vision
Every student at Lake Superior State University feels a strong sense of pride and appreciation for their alma mater
and has a
desire to give back so future students can have an even greater experience at LSSU.
 Mission Statement
The mission of the Lake State Student Philanthropy Council (LSSPC) is to introduce students to the culture of philanthropy
and foster life-long giving.
It is our goal that every Laker leaves Lake Superior State University embracing and living this philosophy.
The Lake State Student Philanthropy Council will achieve this goal by:
- Educating the student body on the positive impact philanthropy has on their education at LSSU.
- Cultivating a sense of gratitude and appreciation for what others have done on the students’ behalf.
- Motivating and engaging students in the act of giving.
