“Funding the Future” is the way donors insure the future of Lake Superior State University through giving generously.
People, companies, organizations, and foundations support Lake Superior State University in a variety of ways through the LSSU Foundation. Each method of giving not only helps to further the mission of LSSU, but also gives the donor a spectrum of tools to use to make their donations. Note: there are Special Benefits for Giving in Michigan.
Currently, the Foundation receives gifts for the University in the following ways:
The Lake Superior State University Foundation was founded in 1983 and makes its home at the Lukenda Alumni House, one of the original Fort Brady Row Houses at the eastern end of campus. The Foundation oversees a vast amount of scholarship activities, events and other philanthropic activities to help educate the public on various ways to give to Lake Superior State University.
