...the hockey endowment

We are enlisting the help of Laker Hockey alumni and friends of the program to create 18 endowed scholarships at $300,000 each. A few individuals or groups of alumni might create one endowed scholarship. Others may contribute to a hockey scholarship endowment using a variety of gift and pledge payment plans.

With the assistance of alumni and friends, this first step of endowing scholarships will lead to the reality of a fully-endowed hockey program, ensuring the legacy of Laker Hockey.

Goals

  • $300,000 endows one position on the team - forever
  • provide additional support for the hockey operating budget - forever
  • $5.4 million endows 18 positions on the team, the current NCAA maximum - forever
  • Secure the future of Laker Hockey - forever!
