Competing against "big boys" like University of Michigan, Ohio State University, Notre Dame, and Michigan State University has always been difficult. They may have more resources, but no one can match Laker Pride.
It is that pride that we are calling upon today, In an era of increasing competition for talent, Lake Superior State University is turning to its friends and alumni for help.
LSSU must be competitive in funding scholarships, recruiting and operating a first-class Division I program.
A group of Laker hockey alumni and the LSSU Foundation are seeking to establish a number of endowed scholarships to help current and future student athletes with student financial aid.
