Greetings from all of us at the Department of Geology & Physics at Lake Superior State University! The Geology program at LSSU offers undergraduate students a unique educational experience in a personal, friendly atmosphere. Whether in the classroom, the field , or the lab, LSSU geology students have many opportunities to work one-on-one with our faculty. We are in the process of implementing an innovative, National Science Foundation-funded geology curriculum, incorporating group-based and project-oriented methods of instruction as well as a variety of field experiences.
