Highlights

Osborn Hall is a women's residence hall, home to as many as 240 students, most of whom are freshman. Located within Osborn hall is a study lounge, mailboxes, two television lobbies, and two laundry rooms. The hall is named after Chase Osborn, the only Michigan Governor from the Upper Peninsula.

Rooms

Osborn Hall is comprised of two-person rooms. The beds, and desks are included and there are closets to store clothing. All beds are 80" and use extra long sheets.

Visitation and Alcohol Policy

  • 24-hour visitation is permitted among residents within their own hall.
  • 24-hour visitation is permitted among nonresident guests within a limited length of stay.
  • Nonresident guests must be escorted at all times.
  • Alcohol is not permitted in Osborn Hall.

Staff

Osborn Hall is staffed by an Area Coordinator (AC) and seven Resident Advisors (RAs). The staff's main goals are to provide the residents with valuable information, create a positive community through educational programming, maintain a safe and high-quality living environment and serve as a resource whenever a student has a question or concern.
