| Function and Responsibility |
| Under administrative direction from and reporting directly to the Director of The Learning Center, coordinate, implement, train and maintain IPASS/Student First and affiliated programs such as: (Supplemental Instruction (SI), Online Course Assistance (OCA), Tutoring, Writing Center and Math Center Programs). |

| Duties and Responsibilities |
Coordinate the IPASS/Student First program:
Train mentors and coordinate activities for the IPASS/SF program.
Meet with IPASS/SF students and develop an individualized study plan and work with the student while they are in the program.
Work to promote the IPASS/SF program to students and faculty.
Create and maintain a website for the IPASS/SF on the Learning Center Website.
Meet with mentors on a regular basis to offer mini-trainings and to discuss problems or concerns they encounter as they mentor.
Communicate with faculty participants on a regular basis to monitor the success and effectiveness of students in the IPASS/SF program.
Assist with these Learning Center programs
Under assignment of the Learning Center Director manages a LC program such as; SI, OCA, Writing Center and Math Center programs (1) Work with Director of the Learning Center and faculty to determine which courses to target for SI, OCA, Writing and math Center; (2) Create and maintain training handbooks for student staff and leaders; (3) Coordinate, implement and deliver appropriate training programs; (4) Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate student staff; (5) Maintain communications protocol with the University community, including faculty, Student leaders; and, (6) Implement and maintain the standards of the SI and OCA programs (7) Assist with the Academic Skills course/s.
Maintain and help with training of Online Tutoring for students in all programs
Maintain and improve the Learning Center Student Success site on Blackboard and update
Create new Student Success Seminar Presentations and materials and promote student success seminars on campus
Collaboration with the Learning Center director and update all student staff training manuals.
Promote the IPASS/SF and Learning Center and its programs at student orientation and information fairs
Create and promote opportunities on campus that encourage students to gain better study skills.
Perform other duties as assigned

| Qualifications |
Bachelors degree or 3-5 years with experience in presenting student study strategies seminars, online instruction, supervision of tutorials/supplemental instruction programs or academic support highly desirable. Must possess excellent communication skills and proficiency in data analysis.

| Physical and Mental Demands |
Adequate physical fitness to be able to sit and concentrate for long periods of time; use of gross motor skills to perform supervisory and organizational duties; use of fine motor skills to operate computer; problem solving ability; ability to see, hear, write and speak with or without the use of aids to perform normal office tasks.
