IPASS and Student First
Successful students don't know it all; they know when to get the help they need.
Do You....
- Know how you learn best?
- Feel overwhelmed with new classes and the responsibilities of being a student?
- Want to avoid being surprised by quizzes and tests you didn't know were coming?
- Wish you could talk to another student in your field about what to expect from your professors?
- Want to be introduced to campus resources that will help you become a successful student?
IPASS and Student First are designed to help you gain control over your learning by:
- Creating a plan for managing you work load
- Creating a support group of people who have the same goals you do,
- Creating and a schedule for using your study time productively.
- Using tutoring
- Using SI (supplemental instruction)
- Using time management
- Using studying and test taking strategies
- Using a peer coach to help you "learn the ropes" in your field of study.
Student First or IPASS? Which one?
