IPASS and Student First

Successful students don't know it all; they know when to get the help they need.

Do You....

• Want to avoid being surprised by quizzes and tests you didn't know were coming?
• Wish you could talk to another student in your field about what to expect from your professors?
• Want to be introduced to campus resources that will help you become a successful student?

IPASS and Student First are designed to help you gain control over your learning by:

• Creating a plan for managing you work load
• Creating a support group of people who have the same goals you do,
• Creating and a schedule for using your study time productively.
• Using tutoring
• Using SI (supplemental instruction)
• Using time management
• Using studying and test taking strategies
• Using a peer coach to help you "learn the ropes" in your field of study.

Student First or IPASS? Which one?

• If you are a first semester Freshman, Student First is your program
