Laurine has worked 16 years for Lake Superior State University . She has held
positions in Financial Aid, Admissions, School of Business and Economics and
Continuing Education. Her assistance with students is very effective in aiding
them with initial directions and follow up assistance as they make contacts
with various university offices in the process of pursuing their goals. Laurine
is responsible for providing and ensuring quality customer service to students
and clientele as well as acquainting them with course offerings and programs.
As a graduate of LSSU and a parent of two children who attended the university,
she brings to LSSU both a student and parent perspective. It has been said by
many people: “If you need information or help regarding LSSU, your academic
discipline, community affairs, or just need a friend to talk with, contact Laurine.”
Off campus, Laurine takes care of her dog, “Ruba”, plans outings with her grandchildren,
and enjoys cooking and visiting people in the long term care unit of the hospital
with “Ruba”.
