The Department of Chemistry and Environmental Science at Lake Superior State University encourage students and faculty in Michigan and surrounding regions to join us for a two-day symposium on May 23rd and 24th, 2011.
The focus of this conference will be on the teaching and demonstration of NMR concepts at the undergraduate and graduate level.
Our two keynote speakers will be Joseph Hornak (Rochester Institute of Technology) and John Glushka (University of Georgia).
The first day of the conference will be presented by these keynote speakers and will focus on teaching techniques and new tools in NMR education, while the second day will be presentations by educators, researchers, and NMR companies/industry highlighting the latest advances in the field. If you are interested in delivering a presentation or talk (20-30 min), please submit an abstract. Please submit abstracts early as space is limited.
Conference attendees will be provided educational materials, meals, transportation, and a trip on the historic Soo Locks Boat tour. Hotel accommodations may also be provided upon request.
