Swim Classes At LSSU
We have a number of swim classes available this summer at the Norris Center. Check the Programs and Activities page for more information.
The Norris Center Pool consists of two separate pools. The dive pool ranges from 11.5 feet deep to 15 feet deep and has 2 diving boards. The 25 meter lap pool is 4 feet deep at both ends and 8 feet deep in the middle and is equipped for handicap access. There are multiple classes offered that are American Red Cross certified as well as senior water exercise. The natatorium also has adjacent seating for 420 spectators and is the site of many area swim meets.
As well as being used for swimming classes, the Norris Center Pool is used for classes at LSSU too.

Graduate School Bound ...
"I've been accepted to Montana Tech's graduate school to pursue a master's degree in geophysical engineering. I have also accepted a full-funded graduate research assistantship to work with the Montana National Guard on developing magnetic techniques to detect unexploded ordinance. My summer internship with Geolex, a company under contract with the Guard, will study acquiring data, performing analysis, and offering interpretation on unexploded ordinance." [ more ]
