Application Process
Entrance Requirements for Pre-Licensure BSN Track
Following successful completion of the pre-nursing requirements, a maximum of 30 students will be admitted to the program based upon academic achievement and completed immunizations and criminal background check results. Entrance into nursing requires a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or higher in nursing, nursing support and english courses. Acceptance also requries a C or better in all of the prerequisite courses. Note: Mathematics proficiency at the MATH102 level (or higher) is a prerequisite or corequisite to CHEM104. A complete description of all entrance requirements can be found in the School of Nursing Handbook.
The application process is to be completed no later than the second Tuesday in November for spring semester admission to the BSN program or the second Tuesday in March for fall semester admission to the BSN program or summer admission to the PN Program.
