Public supports the college
Small quiet town but still can find things to do
Safe campus and city
Year round outdoor activities-camping, skiing, snowmobiles.

Take school seriously, don't get overwhelmed but have fun!
Make use of Norris Center and Library
Experience the events Lake State sponsors, whether it be a hypnotist, concert or recital.
