Andrea Hornblower

"An opportunity like this never would have come available to me if I had not taken the program in the Sault College/LSSU International Division," Hornblower said. "My employer was very impressed with the fact that I not only had a degree in computer networking, but the hands-on knowledge, as well. This is the main reason that I was hired."

Major: Fiance and Economics

Hometown: Harbor Springs, MI

Activities on and off Campus:

  • RA (Resident Advisor) for Osborn Hall
  • Activities Board Director for 2011

Favorite thing about Lake State:

Small size and opportunities students get here that you wouldn't get at a larger university.

Best thing about going to school in Sault Ste. Marie:

  • Far enough away from home to be on my own, but close enough to home in case of emergency.
  • Favorite thing to do in the Soo: Get away from campus and city and enjoy the outdoors.

What are some “Words of Wisdom” you would give to new LSSU Students?

Get off campus and explore what the greater Sault Ste. Marie area has to offer; there are some great things to see around here.
