Audit Policy for Enrollment in Undergraduate Courses
Effective with the 1993-94 academic year:
Residents of Michigan who are 60 years of age or older may take undergraduate
courses at Lake Superior State University without charge. Such residents may
register on an audit basis for any undergraduate course offered by the University,
provided only that space is available in that course. A special registration
for these students will be held each semester on the day following the close
of the University's regular registration period. These students will register
with the Continuing Education Office.
Those participating in course work under this program shall be entitled to
full classroom participation, and may complete all assignments and examinations
for evaluation by the instructor. The purchase of textbooks and required materials
shall be the responsibility of the participant.
The students will not appear on an instructor's official class list or grade
roster and no grade will be recorded for the student in the Registrar's Office.
