POLICY:
In compliance with Senate Resolution 56 adopted July 9, 1941, and with Act
No. 23 of the Public Acts of 1935 of the State of Michigan, all state employees,
including those at the University on both state and non-state payrolls are
required, as a necessary condition of employment, to sign the following affidavit
(attachment #1). The University is required under this law to transmit this
oath card to the Superintendent of Public Instruction, State Department of
Education, for any University employee serving in any teaching capacity at
the University.
