Alum Success

Jacey Cook

"I am currently enrolled in graduate school, doing both therapy and diagnostic testing with a multitude of age ranges. In therapy, I work with children, adolescents, adults and also provide marriage counseling, parent guidance and family therapy. Diagnostic testing gives me an opportunity to work with a wide range of referral questions such as learning difficulties, attention difficulties, gastric bypass evaluations, intellectual and personality measures. Lake Superior State University gave me a strong background in statistics and other courses that provided me with the skills to success and prepared me for graduate school."

LSSU GPA Calculator

Academic Grade Point Average (GPA) information is provided on all Lake Superior State University official and unofficial transcripts. Overall cumulative GPA information appears on the last line. A GPA is calculated by dividing the Quality Points (QPTS) by the GPA Hours (GPA HRS).

You can use the LSSU GPA Calculator to estimate your GPA for the current semester and to estimate how your semester GPA effects your overall cumulative GPA.

Please Note: The LSSU GPA Calculator is informational only! Please be aware that certain grades (CR/NC, Audit, I, N, or W) are not considered gradable and are not calculated in the GPA. Courses considered  "at less than 100 level" (i.e. ENGL091, MATH081, MATH082, etc.) are also not counted into the GPA. This calculator also does NOT calculate the impact of repeated courses.

Please contact the Registrar's Office if you have any questions or concerns about your LSSU transcript and/or GPA. To view your LSSU unofficial transcript online follow the directions below or one can be obtained at the Registrar's Office located in the Fletcher Center for Student Services.
