Official Degree Audit |

Meet with your advisor and complete your Official Degree Audit. You will need a Degree Audit for your Major,
and for any Minors you plan to earn. Have your advisor AND the Chair of the department sign the degree audit(s).
If you have courses that are being waived, or you are being allowed substitutions, please also have your advisor
complete the appropriate Substitution and Waiver Forms, signed by the department chair and the Dean. If you are
in a teaching major, the Assistant Dean for Teacher Education will also need to sign all paperwork.

Graduation Application |

Complete a Graduation Application. If you are
planning to graduate with more than one degree, complete a Graduation Application for each degree.
Submit the Graduation Application(s) AND the Official Degree Audit(s) to the Registrar’s Office by the date indicated on the Graduation Application.

Verification of Degree Requirements |
 |
The Registrar’s Office will send you a Verification of your Degree Audit letting you know what requirements are
still needed, to earn your degree. Your advisor will also receive a copy of this form.
 |
Commencement Ceremony |
 |
Plan to attend the Commencement
Ceremony. You are eligible to attend if you graduated during the previous Fall
semester, or if you plan to graduate Spring or Summer Semester. You will be required to purchase a
Cap, Gown and
tassel.
If you are not attending the ceremony, please complete the
Request to Not Attend Form and bring it to the Registrar’s Office to pick up your
Diploma cover.

Diplomas are mailed to the address on your Graduation Application six to eight weeks after the end of the
semester.
Additional copies of your diploma may also be ordered.
