Student Alumni Involved for Lake State (SAILS)
We are Lake State's student ambassadors. We work closely with the Alumni,
Admissions, Development and President's Offices.
SAILS gain great experience in marketing, team building, leadership, event
planning and execution, as well as program development
You'll make lifelong Laker friends, and network with campus VIPs and LSSU
alumni. It's a great way to share your Laker pride and make a difference on
your campus.
You can attend leadership conferences sponsored by the Association of Student
Advancement Programs, an organization of more than 380 schools in the U.S. and
Canada. ASAP involvement is one of THE best resume builders you can have.
Our programs and activities are open to all Lakers. Whether you're a first
semester freshman or about to graduate, we have all sorts of ways for you to
get involved.
 More than 50 students are a part of SAILS. We are also resident assistants,
involved in Greek life, and elected officers of Student Government. We're
athletes and honor students. We hold jobs, on and off campus. SAILS participate
in other professional and social clubs and organizations too.
We're making the most of our university experience and you can too.
If you want to make a difference now and in the future, SAILS is the place to
