Holly Julian Honored
Holly Julian was named a 1998 Outstanding Student Leader at the annual Student Alumni Association/Student Foundation Network Convention held at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Julian, a Posen native, was honored for her leadership activities at Lake Superior State University in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. The junior who is majoring in business administration serves as immediate past president of the Student Alumni Involved for Lake State (SAILS); president of the LSSU Student Government; a resident assistant in the residential life system. She also earned Dean's List academic honors last year and worked as a special assistant in the LSSU Alumni Relations office.
"Any recognition I have been lucky enough to receive belongs to the students of SAILS. We're proud of our university and of the work we do for LSSU," says Julian. "On behalf of SAILS, I would like to make a special thank you to Dr. Arbuckle for his continuing support of our efforts."
The award is based on accomplishments and activities during the 1997 - 1998 academic year. Last spring, Julian was recognized by the SAA/SF District 5 schools as Outstanding Member of the Year. SAA/SF consists of 320 organizations and 10,000 members in the United States and Canada.
